Rose Bowl fever hits central Wisconsin

After Saturday's pummeling of Nebraska, the Badgers are headed to the Rose Bowl.

Bucky beat down the Cornhuskers 70 to 31 in the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis. This is the team's third straight trip to the granddaddy of them all.

"We'll do the whole football party for the rose bowl," said Mia Chmiel. "Have on our badgers stuff on and watch the game."

The win has fans eager to get their hands on the latest team apparel. At Packerland Plus in Wausau, a store employee says the Badgers' big games bring in customers

"People are looking already," said Bob Bowen, Packerland Plus employee. "They're all excited about the Badgers."

The store is still waiting for Rose Bowl merchandise to arrive, but they're expecting a rush for championship gear.

And badgers fans are already looking to book tickets to Pasadena, California. Travel agencies in the Badger State have been flooded with calls.

Whether you're heading to California, or watching from home, Badgers fans are hoping the third times the charm.

The Badgers will take on Pac-12 Champions Stanford in the Rose Bowl. That game is scheduled for January 1st.
