Top 5 High School Plays of the Week: 12-2-12

Starting at number five, Altoona hosted Marshfield in girls' basketball on Thursday night. Caitlin Michaelis finds Ellie Kummer for the open three and gives the Tigers a six point lead. Marshfield would dominate 60-34.

At number four, we head to Wausau West for some boys' wrestling. Junior Travis Hettings won his match against Deforest High School by pin in the 152 pound weight class. Wausau West dominated this meet, which featured wrestlers from six different schools across Wisconsin.

Number three: boys' basketball: Wausau East against Wausau West. In the closing seconds with East down by three, Conrad Felten finds Cole Nelson and he'll come off the screen and pump fakes, then steps through and launches the three. It goes down and we're headed to overtime tied at 43.

Number two: boys' ice hockey game with Wausau West visiting Chippewa Falls. In the first period, the Warriors started hot. Just over a minute in, Drew Pearson fires and scores the power play goal. West would lead 1-0 early and would win 9-0.

And the top high school play of the week is back in the Wausau East vs. Wausau West basketball game. Conrad Felten pulled it from three to give East the lead and never look back. Felten had 22 points on the night. Lumberjacks beat Wausau West, 53-45.
