Racing fans packed State Park Speedway in Rib Mountain Saturday. It was the first day of the racing season and a chance for fans to remember racing icon, Dick Trickle. People at the track observed a moment of silence for Trickle. He died Thursday in an apparent suicide at the age of 71. Race organizers said the event brought in more than 1,500 fans to watch the season's opening race and to remember Trickle's successful career."More >>

IHOP restaurants will return to both Rib Mountain and Plover. Construction crews are now working on revamping the interiors of the restaurants and putting up signs.
Newsline 9 stopped by the Rib Mountain location. We met up with Anthony Middleton, District Manager for Soleimani. The California-based company owns several IHOP restaurants. Middleton says, "The former owners decided to leave the IHOP franchise and now the new owner plans to return. We are hoping to have both restaurants open for business December 19, 2012.
Middleton says there are already 17 employees for the new restaurants and they hope to add 30 to 40 between the two locations.
