Hundreds of people gathered in Rothschild for a huge ice fishing show.

Wisconsin's Ice Fishing show kicked off Friday afternoon, with 40 vendors showing off the latest and greatest in ice fishing equipment.

Organizers say those vendors have lots of things for sale, for those looking to head out on the ice this winter.

"It's off to a great start great traffic all the vendors are here and the biggest thing is we can save some people some money, so all the anglers looking for the newest and best gadgets this year can buy them at the very best price possible," said Drew Arnold, a vendor at the show.

The event runs until Sunday afternoon.
