12/12/12 food drive in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -

Here's one more way to celebrate 12/12/12.

A food drive is taking place tonight at Rosebowl Lanes in Marshfield.

People who bring 12 non-perishable food items can receive a coupon for 12 percent off their next bowling or food purchase.

"Now more than ever, we need to be helping each other, and I don't think people realize what a huge impact they can have by just doing something very small," said Sue Decker, organizer of the event.

The event was put together by Packer Fans Pay it Forward, an organization that promotes encourages Packer fans to help people in their communities.

All food donations will be given to Saint Vincent De Paul in Marshfield.
