WAUSAU (WAOW) - The snow resulted in school cancellations across our Wisconsin. From grade schools to colleges, the parking lots sat empty.
For some, it will mean a delay in taking their end of the semester exams.
UW Marathon County in Wausau called off classes and final exams Thursday. School leaders sent out text alerts, notifying students the exams scheduled for Thursday, will now take place Saturday.
UWMC Dean Keith Montgomery said, "It was a difficult decision. I waited until shortly after 6:30 a.m. to make the decision. We realized it might impact some students. Instructors are working with students to be as accommodating as possible."
