Wisconsinites celebrate 72 hours of fun

Wisconsinites have a lot to celebrate this year, including a Packers squad that's headed to the playoffs.

"We'll be rooting for the Packers all the way," said Guv Vallier of Minocqua.

The Green and Gold took on the Minnesota Vikings Sunday and fans headed to Packerland Plus in Wausau to show their support.

"Packers stuff, Packer clothes, everybody going to the game, they've got to go see their Packers," said Employee Ken Boho.

The store even opened early, to give fans a chance to get geared up before they headed out to watch the game.

"We open at 10 o'clock just because there are people that are waiting around or want to come and get their Packer gear," said Boho.

As Packers fans prepare for the post-season, area restaurants and bars are getting ready for the biggest celebration of the year.

"We'll have party favors, champagne toast and a confetti bomb at midnight," said Great Dane Floor Manager Megan Nemitz.

Great Dane managers said they look forward to New Year's Eve all year long.

"Our staff are super excited, this is by far the most fun thing we do every year," said Nemitz.

But the fun doesn't end there, as the Badgers take on the Stanford Cardinal in the 2013 Rose Bowl on Tuesday.

Dale's Weston Lanes will be holding a Rose Bowl event in Weston.

"It looks like it's going to be a full house, we start a couple of hours before the game, get everybody prepared to have fun and go from there," said Owner Dale Elliott.

As people hope the Badgers can ring in the New Year with a win.
