The Marathon County Medical Examiner has identified the victim of a fire in Mosinee Sunday. John Larson says the victim is 53 year old Russell Lukensmeyer and he died of smoke inhalation. Larson says he is still awaiting the results of toxicology reports.
Firefighters were called to the victims home on the 600 block of Moon Road on Sunday night.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Marathon County Sheriff's Department and State Fire Marshall are working to determine what ignited the blaze.
