A Wausau man, missing for more than a week, is safe.
According to the Wausau Police Department, 31-year-old Joshua Gilbert was found at around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Gilbert disappeared on January 4th.
The Wausau Patrol Lieutenant tells Newsline 9 Gilbert has been in contact with his family.

The Wausau Police Department is looking for a missing man.
Officers say Joshua Gilbert, 31, was reported missing by his father on Saturday.
Police say Gilbert's father has not talked with him since January 4th.
According to police, Gilbert was last seen in the parking lot outside his apartment on Friday.
Police tell us foul play is not suspected.
Police officials Gilbert suffers from dementia and schizophrenia.
His vehicle was not found at his apartment.
The vehicle is a green colored 2000 Geo, Metro with license plate number 431-UES.
