Police: Man brought 4 bombs into Wis. Capitol

A man is accused of bringing four homemade bombs into the Wisconsin Capitol just hours before annual State of the State address.

Police say Kvon Smith was booked into the Dane County Jail on Tuesday. Smith was arrested after he entered the Capitol Tuesday afternoon. Police say Smith had posted a threat to the Capitol on Facebook before that.

Now, police are recommending Smith be charged with four felony counts of possessing a molotov cocktail—a bottle typically full of a flammable liquid and rag fuse.

Filing any charges is now up to the Dane County district attorney.
