Iola police looking for woman who robbed pharmacy


The Iola Police Department is looking for a woman they say robbed the Sweet Medicine Pharmacy.

According to a press release, Police Chief Robert Prahl says a female suspect robbed the pharmacy at about 2:50pm Monday. He says the suspect showed a revolver-type handgun. No one was injured. Prahl says she got away with an unknown amount of prescription medication.

The suspect is described as 5'4" - 5'6" tall, wearing extremely thin orange jogging style pants, a light colored winter jacket, dark winter hat, scarf and sunglasses.
