Governor appoints Oneida County Sheriff


MADISON (WAOW) - Governor Scott Walker appointed Sgt. Grady Hartman as Oneida County Sheriff, Tuesday.

According to a press release from Governor Walker, Hartman has worked in the Oneida County Sheriff's Department since 1999.

He worked as a patrol officer for five years before becoming patrol sergeant at the Oneida County Sheriff's Department, according to the release. He also serves as the SWAT Team Leader. 

Hartman also is a town supervisor for the Town of Crescent and a school board member for the Rhinelander School District.
