WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) -

Thanks to the Tri-Cities Children's Dream Foundation, 5-year-old Ella Mathews and her family are headed to Walt Disney World!

The trip was presented to Ella and her family during halftime of the Wisconsin Rapids boys basketball game Tuesday night.

Ella has spina bifida and told Newsline 9 she can't wait to meet her favorite Princess, Cinderella.

"I know we live in a great community, but to see people come together to support a cause like this, to send eleven or twelve kids over the course of the years, to be able to do something like this, you know, it's pretty overwhelming to be on the receiving end of it," Ella's mother Stephanie Mathews said.

"Thanks! I'm really excited, I can't wait!" Ella added.

Her entire family will be visiting the theme park later this year, and they said they couldn't be more grateful to the foundation that is giving them the opportunity.
