1 in 4 bank CEOs say Wis. economy in good health

MADISON (AP) -

A new survey shows slight improvement in how bank executives view Wisconsin's economic health.

The Wisconsin Bankers Association surveyed nearly 100 CEOs with headquarters in the Badger State. Twenty-seven percent say they think the state economy is in good health, while 71% rate it as fair and 2% call it poor.

A year ago, 13.5% of CEOs called the state economy healthy, 77% said it was fair and 9.5% said it was poor.

The Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/SARmGz ) says 9% of executives in the most recent survey think Wisconsin's economy will grow in the next six months, compared to 34% a year ago.
