Oneida County has a new sheriff. Grady Hartman has officially been sworn into office. Governor Scott Walker appointed him to the post.
Hartman's wife and 7 children joined other family and friends at the Oneida County Courthouse in Rhinelander.
Grady has been with the department since 1999. He most recently served as a Patrol Sergeant. He has held other leadership posts on town and education boards.
