Nine Mile Forest re-opened Saturday morning after several inches of fresh snow fell Friday.
Workers there said the new layer of snow has helped improve conditions for skiers and snowshoers.
They said they've seen plenty of people excited to get back out on the trails.
That includes snowshoers and cross-country skiers.
"A lot of people are saying that skiing is really good compared to what it was before you know, but they're just happy to ski I think and that's what they're doing out there, they're having fun," said Chalet Attendant, John Howard.
Workers said they are still waiting to see what the weather will do in the next week.
They said if more snow doesn't fall, the trails may not be in good enough shape for Badger State Games events next weekend.
