Snow emergency declared in Wis. Rapids


Officials have declared a snow emergency in the city of Wisconsin Rapids to allow for snow removal.

The snow emergency will go into effect at 11 p.m. Sunday and last until noon on Monday.

Officials say vehicles parked on city streets will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

All odd/even parking is suspended during the snow emergency.
