Temperatures are plummeting across our area, after yesterday's snow.

The snow has brought some good news for winter sports fans.

Snowmobile trails in Marathon County will open Friday at noon, thanks to the heavier, wet snow.

Trails have been closed, after rain washed away December's snow.

According to StormTrack 9, we've already seen more snow this year than the entire season last year.
