MILWAUKEE (WAOW) - Ministry Health Care says it is eliminating about 2 percent of its workforce due to declining business and a reduction in Medicare payments because of federal budget cuts forced by the so-called sequestration.

The YWCA in Wausau held an event aimed at helping women de-stress after the holidays. Visitors could take part in massage, eat healthy snacks or simply learn more about programs offered at the YWCA. Women's Empowerment Director, Barb Burclaff says, "Women are really good at taking care of everyone else. We have just come off a busy holiday season. Now, this is a nudge, a reminder if you will that it is time for women to take time for themselves, so they can take care of others."
Burclaff says the some area businesses offered to pay the $5 fee for their workers.
This is the first time the YWCA has held this event and they hope it will become an annual celebration of women.
