The Rothschild Police Department says a man was hit by a vehicle on Highway 29 Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators tell us two cars were pulled over on the side of the highway, because one of the vehicles had a flat tire.

A police officer says a third vehicle pulled over to help and hit the man.

Authorities say the victim is expected to recover.

The crash is still under investigation.
