PLOVER (WAOW) -
Wisconsin Public Service officials say residents have been allowed back into their homes, after a gas leak in Plover.
According to the WPS, all customers in Plover have been restored as of 11:30 P.M. Wednesday.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday near Ashwood Drive and Golden Road.
WPS crews are fixing the problem, and police and fire crews are on the scene as well, officials said.
Crews from Wausau, Green Bay, and Oshkosh were called in to help.
Natural gas was shut off to about 240 customers, WPS officials said.
"WPS expects to complete repairs and begin relighting natural gas appliances before midnight," said Kerry Spees, WPS spokesman.
