WOODRUFF WAOW -

WOODRUFF (WAOW) - The Woodruff Police Department says they have found the car that was left with it's engine running near an outpatient pickup area of a hospital.

Police say they recovered the 1997 Pontiac Bonneville on a snowmobile trail in Lac Du Flambeau.

The theft occurred about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when the car's owner Michael Wrich, went inside Howard Young Medical Center to aid his mother, who had an appointment with a doctor, police said.

Wrich told investigators he left the car unattended for about five minutes.
