Men place sixth, women seventh in WIAC indoor Championships


The UW-Stevens Point men's track and field team placed sixth in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships with 48 points while the women's team totaled 42.50 points for a seventh-place finish.

Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) earned a first place finish for the Pointers by winning the men's one-mile run in 4:08.76.

The women saw Jasmine Haines (East Troy, WI/East Troy) snag a bronze medal in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.50.

Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) also finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.00.
