Marathon County Sheriff's officials say a man was hospitalized after he struck a tree on a trail in the Town of Frankfort Sunday morning.
Authorities say the crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on a trail between County Highway N and Huckleberry Rd.
Officials say the man was traveling with a group of snowmobilers when the accident happened. They say the man was under the influence of alcohol and was cited for Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle.
He was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
