Turkeypalooza this weekend in Wausau

A unique event will be held this weekend to benefit the Women's Community in Wausau. It's called Turkeypalooza, which is bowling, but with frozen turkeys.

It's happening tomorrow at Schofield City Hall from 10-2, and costs $3 per game.

Women's Community leaders say it's an important cause.

"As a non-profit organization, community support is vitally important to us and anything that people can do to bring in funds so that we can continue to provide free services to victims is really important," Wausau Women's Community Executive Director Jane Graham-Jennings said.

Organizers say the turkeys won't go to waste after the event. They'll be donated to the Raptor Center in Antigo, which helps rehabilitate injured birds.
