WESTON (WAOW) -

Hundreds of young bowlers brought their best game to Dale's Weston Lanes this weekend.

"It's just that crazy adrenaline feeling, that rush," said Bowler, Kayla Bowers.

Bowers said coming to the 15th annual Wisconsin High School Bowling Club Championship is exciting. It's a sport she's been a part of since she was six.

"Bowling is like my life, I really love bowling," said Bowers.

Her fellow teammates said they've put in a lot of practice for this weekend's tournament.

"I've been bowling for four years," said Teammate, Samantha Grade.

Bowers' family came to support the team and her father said he couldn't be more proud.

"They always know that we're supportive of them 100 percent, we go through the good times and the bad times together," said Frank Bowers.

As bowlers compete for first place, Dale's Weston Lanes owner Dale Elliott said the competition brings a lot of money to Central Wisconsin.

"The economic impact, we're figuring is a little over two million to the area, so it's huge," said Elliott.

Managers at Tailgatez in Weston said they've noticed.

"I would say we at least doubled our sales on Friday and Saturday on what we normally do," said General Manager, Renae Tidd.

Competitors said the atmosphere helps bring out their best, to give them the edge as they bowl to win.

"All the people screaming loudly," said Bowers.
