Senior wrestlers take to the mat one last time

For one last time, some of Central Wisconsin's best high school wrestlers took to the mat, taking part in the All-Star Classic at DC Everest Junior High School.

The event featured 28 seniors including the Nowak twins from Edgar, both of whom won individual state titles a few weeks ago, and members of the Wausau West roster that won the team state championship last weekend.

None of the scores actually counted for anything besides bragging rights but it was a way to say goodbye to the seniors.

"A lot of these kids, we were wrestling since we were young, I mean we all know each other," said Colin Baine, Wausau West wrestler and 126 lb. state champion. "We're all just out here having fun and it's pretty low key so I mean it's just a fun night."
