Bear hugs for pediatric cancer patients

"Bear Hugs For Hope"  is a new program offered to brighten the days for pediatric cancer patients. The Wausau office of the American Cancer Society  has teddy bears which can be bought for $25 dollars and they will then be anonymously delivered to local children battling cancer.

The office has 175 of the bears now being packed up and they will be delivered to children hospitalized in the  cancer care unit.

The bear is named "Ray O. Hope". It ties in with the traditional "Daffodil Days" celebration run the American Cancer Society. To find out more you can call the local office at 715-848-2882.
