Anderson, Hawkins lead Auburndale to state final

MADISON (WAOW) -

Auburndale dominated another opponent in the postseason, this time taking down Amherst in the Division 4 State Semifinal in Madison, 49-29.

Senior Austin Hawkins paced the Apaches with 20 points while junior Blake Anderson scored 15. Auburndale limited the Falcons to just 28.6 percent shooting from the field.

The Apaches will face Domincian on Saturday in the state championship. The game will take place after the Division 5 final in the afternoon session.
