While high school basketball season is wrapping up, the Pointers are hoping theirs will continue after tomorrow night.
That's when UW-Stevens Point will host Calvin College in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
The Pointers won their opener at home last weekend by 17 points over Northwestern (MN).
Tomorrow night's contest is only the second meeting between the two schools and the first in the postseason.
"We're just thrilled. We're excited to advance and be able to play another week in this great tournament and to get another home game means so much to us and to our fans and so it will be a great atmosphere," Pointers head coach Bob Semling said.
"Our opponent, Calvin College, out of Michigan, they've won some national titles. It's a school that's very rich in tradition and history, much like us."
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
