Benefit held for baby Treyden Kurtzweil

Hundreds of people rallied around a Stratford family on Saturday, to help with their eight-month-old's battle with a rare form of leukemia.

Family members held a benefit at Dale's Weston Lanes for Treyden Kurtzweil. They held a silent auction with dozens of items and all of the proceeds going toward Treyden's medical costs.

Treyden's family said they can't believe the outpouring of support.

"I just think it's amazing how the community comes together in a time of need, and it's very, very overwhelming," said his aunt, Andrea Hotchkiss.

Treyden's aunt said they hoped to raise about $15,000 with the benefit.

She said right now, baby Treyden is still in Marshfield getting treatments before he can go to Madison for his procedure.
