WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) -
High school students in Wisconsin Rapids got a glimpse at college life.
Mid-State Technical College hosted an education fair Tuesday night. Students toured the campus and got a firsthand look at technical and industrial programs.
Experts were also on hand to answer questions about financial aid, scholarships and the college application process.
"We just want people to know that there are a lot of good paying jobs here in central Wisconsin, and we're the place that you can come to learn the skills required to fill those positions," said Al Javoroski, MSTC Technical and Industrial Division Dean.
Organizers say more than 200 people visited the education fair.
