UPDATE: Charge filed after Nekoosa High School threat

A Nekoosa High School student is now facing a criminal charge, after police say he threatened to bring a gun to school.

Steven Dzieglewicz, 18, faces one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, Nekoosa Police say Dzieglewicz used facebook to tell another student that he had a gun in the school.

The school was locked down on Monday, March 11 and all students were dismissed. Police say no weapon was found.

Court records show Dzieglewicz told the other student, "I told you I have a way to kill everyone," and "I wanna end it all."

Officers say when Dzieglewicz was interviewed, he said he did not have a weapon and did not bring one to school.

Dzieglewicz faces up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

The Wood County Jail says Dzieglewicz is not in jail at this time.

An initial appearance has not been scheduled.
