Sheriff's departments across north-central Wisconsin dealt with numerous slide-offs Friday night as snow fell across the area.
Marathon County Lt. Frank Hanoucek told Newsline 9 that deputies had responded to about a dozen weather-related incidents as of about 11:30 p.m. Friday. No serious injuries were reported, Hanoucek said.
"Roads are getting snow covered and slippery," he said.
Portage and Wood Counties also reported several slide-offs. Dispatchers said the incidents were minor, and no one was hurt, as of late Friday night.
In Lincoln County, as of that time, deputies had responded to just one vehicle in a ditch.
