
Anika Johnson scored 11 points and Brianna Byrne added 10 as Green Bay Notre Dame beat New Berlin Eisenhower 42-33 for the WIAA Division 2 state championship.
After starting the season 5-4, Notre Dame (22-6) won 17 of its last 19 games. It's the Tritons' second state title.
Notre Dame jumped out to a 6-2 lead and took a 14-9 advantage into the second quarter but were clinging to a 19-17 lead at halftime.
Eisenhower (25-3) clawed back in the second half and took its first lead of the game, 21-19, on two free throws from Erin Ganzke. But Notre Dame regained its two-point lead heading into the final quarter.
Notre Dame hit seven free throws to close out the game.
The Lions' Jenny Weiland scored a game-high 12 points.
