Milwaukee Riverside bests Mukwonago for title

Alona Johnson and Amani Wilborn each scored 15 points as Milwaukee Riverside defeated Mukwonago 55-41 in the WIAA Division 1 girls basketball state championship.
   Riverside (24-4) won the title Saturday in its first appearance in a state final.
   The Lady Tigers finished the season with 23 straight victories, matching Division 3 champion Kewaunee for the longest active winning streak in Wisconsin.
   Neither team led by more than three points in a back-and-forth first half.
   The Lady Tigers broke the game open with an 11-2 run spanning the third and fourth quarters for a 45-33 lead.
   Mukwonago (25-3) didn't get closer than eight points the rest of the way.
   Bre Cera and Amber Gray each scored 11 points to lead the Indians.
