Big Ten tournament runner-up, Wisconsin, is selected into the NCAA tournament as a No. 5 seed in the West Region, and will play 12th seeded Ole Miss in the second round Thursday in Kansas City.
The Badgers (23-11) finished tied with Michigan for fourth place in the Big Ten after finishing 12-6 in the regular conference season.
Wisconsin nearly won the Big Ten tournament after knocking off Michigan and Indiana on the way to the tournament's title game. Ohio State beat the Badgers in the title game, 50-43.
This is the 15th straight season Wisconsin has made the field for the national tournament, and the 12th consecutive year in the Bo Ryan era.
Ole Miss (26-8) is dancing after taking down Florida 66-63 in the SEC tournament title game.
