EDGAR (WAOW) -

Marathon County Sheriff's deputies say a two vehicle crash has sent four people to the hospital.

The sheriff's department says the crash happened near 3rd Avenue and Hwy H in the Village of Edgar.

They say one car was traveling south on Hwy H when the driver, a 37-year old woman, lost control and drifted into oncoming traffic. Authorities say a car traveling north didn't have time to stop and the two vehicles collided.

Authorities say the driver of the other car was a 58 year-old man. Each car had one passenger, a 13-year old boy and a 64-year old woman.

Sheriff's deputies say all four people had to be extracted from the two vehicles. Authorities tell us all of them were transported to a nearby hospital where they're being treated for moderate injuries.
