Wausau's Amazing Race set for April 6

WAUSAU (WAOW) -

Wausau's Amazing Race takes off from the downtown 400 block on April 6, 2013. The scavenger hunt is the work of 6 Wausau East High School students.

The students have worked on the project since October. They have called on local businesses to sponsor challenges. Participants will receive clues and then complete challenges. The top three teams to finish the race will will hundreds of dollars in prizes.

Money raised through the event will go to scholarships for the Wausau East students.
