Spring is here, despite the snow

Wednesday is officially the first day of spring. It may not look it outside, but some businesses are already getting ready for the season.

Snow may be covering the ground right now, but at Rib Mountain Greenhouse, flowers are in bloom. Owners say it's different from last year's heat wave, and they say they're really ready for spring.

"We've been planting since January, getting ready for spring, planting the geraniums and seeding. We're seeding tomatoes and seeding marigolds," Rib Mountain Greenhouse owner Kurt Spiegel said.

Owners say they've already received some orders for flowers. But they say business usually picks up around Mother's Day.
