Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. GREEN BAY (AP) -
A Marine recruiter who worked in the Green Bay area is charged with using information from his recruits to solicit intimate photos from their female friends.
Prosecutors say child pornography was also found on Sgt. Andrew Curran's home computer. The 27-year-old recruiter is charged with five counts of child pornography and two counts of misusing personal information. He's being held in the Brown County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Investigators say Curran told a potential recruit from Ashwaubenon that he was using the recruit's personal email and Facebook passwords for background checks. Authorities say Curran used that information to solicit the man's female friends for nude photos.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette (http://gbpg.net/ZAcBsW ) says a conviction on the charges carries a maximum 137 years in prison and fines of up to $520,000.
