Authorities have new leads in Kira Trevino case

St. Paul, Minn -

New details have emerged in the search for a missing D.C. Everest Graduate.

According to KSTP in Minnesota, Bloomington Police recovered video from Mall of America showing Kira Trevino's Chevy Cobalt in the parking lot and a man throwing what looks like the trunk liner out of the car.

According to a criminal complaint, a witness also saw two men on a frozen lake struggling to carry something that was about the size of a person.

Kira Trevino's family then organized a search party of Keller Lake, and authorities say one of the witnesses found a plastic bag tied shut. According to the criminal complaint, that blood matched Kira Trevino's DNA profile.

Kira has been missing for nearly a month. Kira's husband, Jeffery Trevino is charged in her death. But, her body has not yet been found.

Crews are getting ready for another major search effort this weekend.
