Teen reaches plea deal in Hardee's robbery

WAUSAU (WAOW) - One of the five men arrested in a 2011 armed robbery of a Hardee's in Wausau reached a plea deal with prosecutors on Tuesday.

Spencer Scheidemann, 18, of Wausau was convicted of being party to robbery with the threat of force, according to online court records. Two other felony counts were dismissed in the deal.

Court records say Scheidermann was placed on probation for 10 years, ordered to serve 193 days in jail and required to pay Hardee's $335 in restitutution.

Scheidermann's attorney, John Bliss, said the restitution will be split among all the defendants convicted in the case.

Bliss said the plea deal keeps Scheidermann out of prison as long as his probation is not revoked. The maximum punishment for the conviction is 15 years in prison, the attorney said.

Earlier, Jacob Juedes, 22, of Wausau was convicted of party to armed robbery and sentenced to nine months in jail and 10 years of probation. Police said Juedes worked at the Hardee's on Stewart Avenue at the time of the robbery.

According to police, a man dressed in a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt crawled through a drive-thru window, pointed a gun at a female employee and ordered her to open a back door to let two other robbers inside.
