DENVER (AP) -- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has arrested a woman accused of illegally transferring the gun authorities say was used to kill Colorado's prisons chief.
The agency said late Wednesday that the 22-year-old woman is suspected of buying the firearm from a licensed dealer in suburban Denver and transferring it to Evan Ebel.
He died after a shootout in Texas last week.
Investigators say the gun Ebel used in the shootout was the same one used to kill prisons chief Tom Clements on March 19.
Ebel was a felon who had been paroled in January, so it wasn't legal for him to possess a firearm.
The tears of Keaton Jones made waves online.
