It's time for yet another Big East swan song.
Marquette and Syracuse play Saturday with a berth in the Final Four on the line.
For Marquette, it's another chance to solve Syracuse's 2-3 zone defense.
The Golden Eagles beat the Orange last month, but the zone was as effective as ever in Syracuse's win over Indiana in the round of 16.
One player relishing the rematch is Marquette's Davante Gardner, who had a career-high 26 points in the teams' first meeting.
Said Gardner: "I know about spacing, so they'll change it up and try to lock me down."
Syracuse is leaving the Big East for the Atlantic Coast Conference in the fall, and Marquette is one of the "Catholic 7" schools who will keep the Big East name.
