MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -

The four-year-old boy who survived a car crash in Wausau is improving.

Officials at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield tell Newsline 9 that Jordan Dixon has been upgraded to fair condition.

The boy had been in critical and serious condition since a car crash on Thomas Street two weeks ago.

Wausau Police say Michael Dixon was behind the wheel, when the car crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Several benefits are in the works to help with Jordan's medical costs.
