There's a change in the pecking order for country music's competing awards shows, at least for this television season.
The Nielsen company says that an estimated 15.5 million people saw the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday on CBS. That's believed to be the first time the ACM broadcast had a bigger audience than the more established Country Music Association awards. That show aired in November.
