National anti-bullying movement comes to Wausau

People packed the Wausau East High School auditorium Tuesday night, all to hear an emotional father share an important message about bullying.

National speaker Kirk Smalley shared his son's tragic story.

He says his 11-year-old son Ty killed himself in May 2010, after being bullied for almost 2 years.

Smalley says he wants to prevent the same thing from happening to another family. So he came to Wausau to spread the word about the dangers of bullying.

"We decided that day that we can't let another mom and dad find their baby that way, not without doing everything we could to make it stop," said Smalley.

And he doesn't stop here. Smalley says his next stop is Milwaukee.
