Late Friday afternoon, Wisconsin Public Service Crews restored power to rural customers in Plover hit by a power outage.
Kelly Zagrzebski of Wisconsin Public Service says the outage affected fewer than 100 customers. Most of those are rural farm customers, who rely on the electricity for irrigation systems in their farm fields.
Zagrzebski says WPS crews started working to restore the downed lines Thursday after a storm moved through. She says rain and high winds downed lines and damaged arms on power poles.
