The Pointers football team held it's first spring practice on Sunday, and just like every other team in the area the Pointers were forced to be inside because of weather conditions.
The NCAA Division III level doesn't allow teams to have a spring game, but they are allowed to have 16 spring practices without helmets and pads.
Head coach Tom Journell says the Pointers will be using the spring to get everyone on the same page mentally.
